Nestled in the Jewel of the Sierra Mountains at 6200' in Lake Tahoe is a setting where Recovery is possible for you or a loved one. Sierra Recovery Center is a safe and secure environment for persons with alcohol or drug  dependency.


Sierra Recovery Center, a nonprofit agency, has served the Lake Tahoe Community since 1970. Programs are certified by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and Nevada Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. We are CARF accredited.

Offering continuing and compassionate recovery to individuals and families affected by addictive behaviors.

Sierra Recovery Center 

Provides individualized inpatient treatment / outpatient for chemical dependency. In this safe environment, clients receive counseling, education and life skills to help them achieve recovery and well being. Our program focuses on providing opportunities for an enhanced quality of life through a balanced, holistic approach. Our 24 hour care addresses mind, body and spirit. A strong family component is incorporated in this program. Clinically managed residential detoxification is available. A registered Nurse and medical director are on staff.
